Showing some love...

Well hello my compadre's. I don't like calling people my followers. It makes me feel like I'm starting an uprising or something. But, for all of you who are "following" our blog, I thought I would just drop a quick update by.

I am so incredibly, stupendously, magnificently, fabulously, super duper-ly excited for my first baby nephew to show himself to his entourage. I plan on thoroughly spoiling this kid, but not to the point of being rotten. Sounds terribly unpleasant. My sis-in-law (and bff) Liz is due tomorrow. I know she and my twin bro will be great parents. I couldn't be more thrilled for them. I am so excited for Chris and Ty to have a little cousin in their age group. All of there other cousins are 10-20 years older. We just have to be determined to get together since we live so far away.

Nextly, Christopher has been rolling over to his tummy for a couple of months now, but would always get stuck and get freaked out. Now he is rolling all over the house. He just rolls and then rolls some more, and before you know it he's halfway across the living room. Sheesh. Hard for me to believe he's seven months old. He's doing quite well at pushing up on his arms, and always scans the room to find me to make sure I see him doing so well! Sometimes, he'll roll, roll, and push-up really fast and if he sees me right when he looks up he'll start laughing and laughing. I always make a funny face and then say "HOORAY" whilst clapping and being silly.

He has been eating a lot lately, bottles and purees. Needless to say I've never been more grateful for a diaper genie. He really had a knack for eating off a spoon and would probably let me continue to shovel in the food until he barfs. He is so happy all the time, and loves when Anthony talks to him or when Tyler jumps around, sometimes a little too close for my comfort.

Other than that, Anthony is doing pretty good in school, and just likes riding his bike, skateboarding, and fishing at the local creek after school. We are all gearing up for our annual crab feed. Robert always gets super excited for it. It's kind of his specialty. He loves to throw parties, BBQ's and be the entertainer.

I have been on a domestic streak lately. I am writing this update while my latest batch of bread is baking (and I don't even have a bread machine, I knead the dough and everything). It's turning out a little funny on the top. I got busy and let it rise a bit too long. Oh well, it tastes just as good. Now I just need to make some freezer jam to put on it. Yummy.

I also purchased patterns and material to make Chris and Tyler's Halloween costumes. I will keep you in suspense as to what they will be. But will post pictures as soon as they are finished! Tyler knew what he wanted to be, and Daddy picked out Chris' costume, so we shall see how they turn out. I have great ambition to give these projects my own special touches.

I want all of you reading this to know that I love you all, and am grateful for each of you. I don't know what I would do without the love and support of my dear family and friends. I have so much gratitude for all that has been done for me and my family. I hope that you know how much we appreciate all the acts of love big and small that have been shown to us. I will keep you updated and hopefully, have some photos soon. I'll also try to get some video of Chris doing his rolling and push-ups! Huge love and hugs from all of us at the Wirt household!
